November 24, 2011 - Riva Mobile Rolls out for Toronto Facility Inspection
The City of Toronto is rolling out the Riva Mobile application to their asset preservation team. This application on the Blackberry platform provides field workers with the ability to review and update their planned rehabilitation and replacement plan for a building while on site. Riva Mobile operates in disconnected mode, so they can work anywhere… in remote locations, sub-basements and other areas where there is no internet or cellular connectivity. Users can record building inspection details, identify needs and even capture and link photographs with all information seamlessly uploaded to their enterprise Riva application in the background.

June 30, 2011 - City of Burlington Riva EI (Enterprise Inventory) Go Live
The City of Burlington has completed the production deployment of Riva EI. The system consolidates inventories from disparate systems and transfer financially impacting asset information to their SAP Asset Accounting Module. The project was delivered on time and on budget within an aggressive timeframe. The deployment includes integration to the City’s GIS, pavement management and maintenance management systems to ensure data accuracy and eliminate the time previously required to collect and reconcile asset inventories to meet annual PSAB 3150 reporting requirements.
Sandy O'Reilly, Coordinator of Accounting stated: " While we have already realized efficiencies from the RIVA implementation, I feel the best is yet to come. This was an important project for the City and with the help of a great project team we were able to deliver on time and on budget.”
