Riva PSAB is an
enterprise solution
used by medium
to large municipal governments. Riva PSAB leverages their existing
operational systems to meet PSAB 3150 reporting requirements. It
provides the tools to build an enterprise inventory of all municipal
assets, no matter where they are being maintained. It pulls assets from
maintenance management systems, GIS, corporate data warehouses, custom
databases and spreadsheets into a single enterprise view.
Riva PSAB provides a fully configurable
environment for setting the valuation rules for all asset types. These
rules ensure consistency in valuation and in the categorization of
assets on the asset registry. Riva PSAB then generates and stores
the acquisition and replacement values for all assets. This includes a
full audit trail of how the values were determined, where the source
data came from, and any changes that have been made to adjust the
values.
Reports are provided to support sign offs from
inventory areas or asset managers. Dashboards provide overviews of the
purchase history and the replacement profile of assets. Validation
reports provide real-time confirmation that the data in Riva PSAB reflects that in the source systems.
Full Listing of Assets Riva PSAB includes data mastering tools to automatically pull information
from multiple systems (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems,
Financial Systems, GIS, Excel and any other ODBC compliant third party
application) into a single enterprise asset repository. Users can then
view and report on these assets by hierarchy or any categorization they
choose.
Asset Value Report
Riva PSAB supports all standard depreciation methods. In addition,
custom depreciation formulas can be built and deployed using the formula
builder. To determine the effective life for depreciation, Riva can take
into consideration not only the lifespan of assets but also the planned
treatments that affect that lifespan.
Maintenance Backlog Report
Riva PSAB uses Asset Attribute Information, Condition
Assessment/Ratings, Value Analysis and Risk Analysis to provide Full
Lifecycle Analysis for any asset type. Based on an agencies best
practices, formulas and algorithms, Rivas Lifecycle Analysis component
will determine the maintenance, rehab and replacement backlog faced by
an agency.
Custom Reporting
The Riva PSAB report builder allows users to construct an unlimited
number of custom reports. These reports can all be exported to Excel,
Text or HTML. In addition to reports, Riva PSAB includes a full
graphing engine. Reports, Charts and Graphs are auditable so that you
can drill into any data point, such as a figure in a report or a section
of a graph, to reveal the source of the data. Riva will also integrate
with most standard report writing tools. So a government agency can
build the exact reports their auditors require and run them whenever
they choose.
On Demand solutions are hosted on Riva Modeling's
secure servers. They provide smaller organizations with
the advantages of the enterprise solutions while being
optimized for working with smaller asset collections.
Municipalities with populations under 50,000 and
corporations with fewer than 25,000 physical assets to
manage may find On Demand solutions to be the best fit.
