Riva's Asset Settlement solution (Riva AS) extends the Riva EI solution to generate settlement advice for asset accountants when working with complex projects. It bridges a gap between operations and finance, automating the workflow of information between them. Asset Settlement allows project managers to review projects on a line by line basis, allocating costs to assets. Those assets have been pulled from inventory systems and aligned with the financial representation, either individual or pooled, in the financial system. Riva then provides the asset accountant with a report detailing how the costs from a project should be allocated to tangible capital assets in the asset accounting system.
